In polydactyly (many fingers) there is more than the usual number of digits (5) to the hands

It can be classified in broad sense into:

 

 

 

Pre-axial polydactyly can be further classified

Polydactyly can be associated with a large number of other conditions, in this case Down’s syndrome.
